Our April Pack Night is tomorrow, April 19, 2012 at 6:30 PM in the Kimball Hill Multipurpose Room, as usual.
Please bring your plant (bean) growing project that we started last month. Please label your plant so we know which one belongs to who. Siblings should bring theirs as well.
We will have three players from the Chicago Rush Arena Football team at our pack night this month. The children will have a chance to ask questions, and then play ball with them in the gym.
There will be sign up sheets for volunteers for two upcoming events.
The first is our Pack’s recruiting night which will be Wednesday, May 16th. We need people to help with signs, fliers, & spreading the word before hand, and also working the event itself.
The second event is our annual picnic, which will take place at Kimball Hill park on Saturday, June 2nd.
PLEASE SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER. We cannot do this without your help.
Our March Pack night is coming up this Thursday at 6:30pm at our usual spot in Kimball Hill School. We have a busy night planned, so please be prompt.
Please remember to have your scout bring his creative project, and please help him prepare for his 1 to 3 minute presentation. Here again is a copy of the instructions for the creative project. [PDF]
Also, early in the meeting (before the creative project presentations), we will be having a very brief visit from a member of our scouting District to discuss “Friends of Scouting”. At this time, the children will be brought to the gym to start a project that they will need to continue over the course of the month, and will be showing off at the April Pack night. We’ll need 2 or 3 parents to help in the gym, but if possible, we’d like one member of each family to stay for the Friends of Scouting talk. So this would be a good pack night for both parents, or a parent and a grandparent to attend.
Come join us for Family Night!
When: Fri, Feb 24th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm
Where: Trinity Lutheran Church
The cost is $5 per FAMILY (not person).
This is not a drop off event; at least one parent or responsible adult needs to stay.
We will be showing movies in the theater, playing games and serving food.
The pack will be providing hot dogs, pizza, and drinks.
We ask that each family bring a snack to share.
This Thursday November 17th (6:30pm Kimball Hill) will be our next Pack Night!!!
*Please bring a NEW UNWRAPPED toy to donate for Toys for Tots
